Barbara Hulanicki Return to Biba

I heard the best news!

Biba, one of my favorite vintage brands from the 60s/70s era has reunited with Barbara Hulanicki the original creator of the famed brand after a 39 year hiatus! British store, House of Fraser, who is responsible for keeping the Biba brand afloat, has just announced the capsule collection with Hulanicki is set to launch in the fall of 2015.  It can't come soon enough!

Nordstrom Rack Nashville Preview Party.

Tonight I attended the Nordstrom Rack Nashville preview party. While I am no stranger to a crowded elbow room full of fashionistas, I was not expecting what I encountered tonight. I received an "exclusive invite only" flyer via email last month inviting all bloggers and fashionables to the new Nordstrom Rack (Opening Officially Tomorrow) funnily enough everyone and their mother showed up in every fashion. My guess is they had some trouble turning people away at the door. Nevertheless, it was an event I am glad I attended as I scored two pairs of Prada sunglasses that I have been stalking at for steal of a deal. For the savvy shopper it is stocked with some interesting RTW and bridge clothing lines at very reasonable prices.  I would have liked to have seen more designer and couture, but hey thats just me. Here are some of my fave finds of the evening!

…and Steven Tyler who bore actress Liv Tyler is the answer to the question posted on our instagram page. I have posted on the topic of this fantastic woman before, when her book "Rebel Heart" was released. She is one of my favorite muses of Rock and Roll. Not only is she gorgeous but her authenticity and true Rock and Roll spirit is unduplicated. Tomorrow night in Nashville, she debuts a new single and I, for one, am really excited to attend.
