November Girl!

This girl is a star! Not only is she gorgeous, she is the sweetest gal you'll ever meet! At the moment she is modeling around the globe and stopping traffic I am sure ;) I met her at The Virgins show last year, and was lucky enough to shoot with her a couple times!

Name: Rachel Ruff
Interests: Traveling, vintage shopping, learning French, watching musicals, and reading
How Long Have You Lived in Nashville? 14 years!
Favorite Nashville Spot? Loveless Cafe and my home
Favorite Nashvillian living or dead? Elvis Presley.

A couple weeks ago while I was in Paris, I walked past a Elvis memorabilia shop and decided to go in. I ended up talking a little bit with the shop owner. When she found out I was from TN she gave me all this free stuff. It was pretty cool.

Lady Million.

I went over to Danny's parents house for Thanksgiving...amidst preparing for the feast, his mother gave me this AMAZING piece of jewelry. She is from Colombia and apparently bought this piece in the 1960s. The style of this necklace was originated by the great Paco Rabanne. "Rabanne started his career in fashion by creating jewelry for Givenchy, Dior, and Balenciaga. He started his own fashion house in 1966" pioneering the concept of using unconventional materials such as metal, paper and plastic for garments and jewelry, each piece having a very structural silhouette.

I am so lucky to have such a piece!

Parlour's Pass Ups.

1.This was such a good print, too bad it was Isaac Mizrahi for Target.
2. Love me a paisley when it's not polyester
3. Aah this was such a great knit, the cut was a litte too Bert and Ernie though
4. I fell in love with the print on this top, on the spot, but it was a little too homemade for my taste
5. Dolly Parton polyester!
6. This amazing deco print was on a men's tie...so good.
7. Truth be told, I should have bought this sweater...Twin Coco Chanels? I'm an ass.
8. polyester.
9. another one I should have bought Metallic clovers!
10. This had the perfect Missoni style knit. The sleeves were just stretched out to oblivion.

Viva Betsey Johnson Nashville!

Last month I caught wind that the Betsey Johnson Nashville store was closing down. This news was devastating for me because working for Betsey Johnson NYC has had a huge impact on who I am today. Betsey Johnson Nashville is the one place I can go in Nashville and feel like I am back at that place and that time in my life! Not to mention the clothes are the quirkiest and coolest in town! With the help of former and current Nashville employees, Betsey Nashville will stay open!!! One of the greatest things about BJ VINES AND CO is that they actually listen to their employees. The rumor is BJ Nashville will be leaving Green Hills Mall and the new location is pending....Yee Haw! (sorry had to do it)
