Thank you to everyone that came out to the show and the flea market last weekend! It was a crazy in a good way weekend :) Between the flea market and the Fashion Show, I managed to hit up an incredible Estate Sale!! I bought some AMAZING pieces that will be on Parlour's racks SOON. Lots of new happenings for the house of Parlour in April so stay TUNED!

Vogue Nippon

One of a few things I miss about living in NYC is having a magazine stand on every street corner, stocked full of the best imported reads. I suppose it is a good thing that there aren't as many to choose from down here because I used to drop serious CA$H on magazines. One of my favorites is Vogue Nippon. Even though I cannot read Japanese, the photography and art is stellar! Barnes and Noble at Opry Mills used to carry it, they don't anymore :(

I have an insane obsession with rings, I can never have to many and have been known to wear one on every finger if I am in the mood.

Mizrahi in Nashville

I miss the old days of seeing couture on the runway in NYC! I have experienced NY Fashion Week on both sides of the spectrum, as a dresser and as a seated guest. All I can say is any way you look at it, it is such a rush to be in that setting...words cannot even describe. I was elated when my sister informed me that Isaac Mizrahi is showing a collection right here in our fair city! The Schermerhorn Symphony Center is hosting the event on April 20th.

I Heart Ronson!

After a late night dash for some Dairy Queen at the Cool Springs Mall I finally made it over to JCpenny's. I've been reading about major changes in the store like the Sephora merge, The Olsen Twins newest and cheesiest collection, ( their wal-mart collection was way better Yall!) and the Charlotte Ronson collection. If you are not familiar with Charlotte Ronson, her brother is super producer Mark Ronson, and her sister is the gal that has been tangled up with Ms. Lohan. Personal life aside, Charlotte Ronson has a killer collection based out of NY. But for those of us that can't get our hands on that merch. Her JCpenny's I Heart Ronson collection makes the cut! I fell in love with the printed maxi dress and the romper, and Iekeliene Stange as the catalogue model...I think YES!

A curvy comeback

Marc Jacobs showed a great collection for Louis Vuitton. Dresses with dirndls and what looked like crinolines underneath! Finally a silhouette that flatters.
