As Nashville embarks on its annual Fashion Week, I reflect back to almost 11 years ago when I moved back to Nashville from New York. A time when the idea of a fashion week was just a whisper. In 2008 I ran into one of my friends Robert Campbell who was at the forefront of creating Nashville Fashion Week and we spoke in the parking lot of Green Hills mall about how cool it would be to create a fashion week in Nashville. Fast Forward to Nashville circa 2017, seeing nashville in every high profile publication as not only the most desirable places to live, but the possibility of Nashville becoming a fashion Mecca. I can't help but think how amazing it has been to watch this city grow so rapidly. I only hope it doesn't get too big for its britches.
