The Halston Archives.

Yesterday marked the first day of Nashville Fashion Week. The very first thing on my "Fashion agenda" was a visit to Lipscomb University for the Halston Archive presentation. I have anticipated viewing this collection for quite some time now. In fact you can read my original post from 2008 HERE . When first I heard that Nashville had procured one of the largest Halston archives, I was not only stunned but incredibly excited! As a vintage clothing dealer, just to be close to something of that caliber gives me goose bumps all over.

I adored the gowns but my favorite portion of the exhibit was the original editorials and press clippings with images of Pat Cleveland and Marisa Berenson donning Halston.
Not to forget the original patterns cut for the likes of Liza Minelli and Martha Graham.

make this a stop on your NFW calendar this week.

I am wearing Vintage Halston leopard print dress, vintage Halston trench coat, Halston Belt, Halston sunglasses and vintage Stuart Weitzman shoes.
