Groupies

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I have had an ongoing obsession with groupies since the age of 13. I have read many books on these gals and loved every one of them. There is quite a misunderstanding that groupies are sluts, whores etc. However, the "real" groupies did not just sleep with anybody, they were very particular about who they chose to surround themselves with. They only hung with musicians that were worth their while. They flew around with them, escorted them to fancy dinners, and all around had a fucking fabulous time!! Last night I watched the movie "Groupies" for the first time. It was so inspiring I decided to do a post on the lovely ladies of Rock n Roll
