Fall Fashion Bailout

The ladies of Manuel Couture are showing their personal designs tonight at R Squared Salon...here is the press realease.

R Squared Salon has just what the pocketbook ordered—A “Fall Fashion Bail Out”. Taking place Saturday, September 12th from 5-7 p.m., this is the third in a series of hip events hosted by the Nashville salon located 1219 17th Avenue South.

Fashion enthusiasts will be able to peruse the latest fall looks featuring one-of-a-kind accessories and handbags by Lauren Wray and Lalie of Manuel Couture, hair accessories by Let Them eat cake, along with make-up and hair tips by R Squared stylists.

The evening’s theme: “Fall Fashion Bail Out” ties in exactly what the designers and stylists are trying to convey: bailing you out of your tired look, without breaking the bank! Stylists, industry professionals, and boutique owners will be able to preview the party an hour early from the public, starting at 4 p.m.

R Squared Salon is an exceptionally talented collective of cut/color specialists and make up artists located in the heart of Music Row. The salon has acquired a reputation for creating fashionable yet workable hair that is personalized for each individual client. You may have already seen their work in music videos, fashion shows, and on America’s Next Top Model. Their talent will be showcased in the upcoming September issues of Nashville Scene, NFocus, and Nashville Lifestyles.

Lauren Wray and Lalie of Manuel Couture have worked under the direction of Manuel, tailor to the stars, for a combined ten years. They have assisted the iconic designer in both the business and creative end, contributing to the looks of Robert Plant to Kid Rock to Jack White to name a few. Lalie is an award-winning designer whose pieces are part of the permanent collection in the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming. They may also be seen on Jack White for the album “Consolers of the Lonely” by The Raconteurs. With an academic background in cultural studies, Lauren has pulled her design influences straight from old Hollywood and dirt roads. As a former collaborator described, “the would-be love child of Elly Mae Clampett and Keith Richards”.

All are enthusiastic to offer affordable, yet stylish wardrobe-updater MUST-HAVES! The collective vision is taking what you already have and adding a few key accessories and touch-ups to change your look around.
