I am obsessed with researching boutiques of old and new. One such boutique that really tickled my fancy is Mr. Freedom. Mr. Freedom was a boutique in London during the late sixties and early seventies. While it was short lived, its impact on fashion boutiques in London was major! Created by Tommy Roberts,The idea was to integrate pop art into fashion and stear fashion away from the Hippie movement. Mr. Freedom were the creators of the Glam Rock fashion circuit catering to clients such as Elton John, David Bowie and Mick Jagger. It is not easy to come by pieces from Mr. Freedom, but I can attest that there are some gorgeous pieces in museums that would make you salivate!!!
